1Write monthly, even when the month was bad. Especially then.
2Bad news first. Trust comes from plain talk.
3Every email has one ask or one update. Never blur the two.
4Numbers with comparison: before, now, target.
5Reply within 24 hours, even if the answer is "I do not know yet".
6Be responsive. A fast "not yet" beats a slow silence.
